The Newly developed SWATCOM Active8 waterproof headsets are used for Military, Police Operations and Professional Shooters. The new ASIC* digital electronics offers 360 degree stereo sound reproduction to enhance situational awareness and audio clarity whilst giving optimum personnel hearing protection.

Low profile design

The slim, chamfered cups are specifically designed for rifle and shotgun use, allowing a good cheek weld without interference with the cup. This, coupled with the headband design also allows the headset to be worn under ballistic helmets.

AUX Input

The SWATCOM Active8 headsets are equipped with a 3.5mm auxiliary input for connection to external devices such as radios for communication, or cell phones for streaming music. The included 3.5mm stereo - mono cable can be used for connecting a speaker microphone to the headset for monitoring radio communications. Additional speakers in each cup are powered directly by external devices insuring you will always receive critical communications in the event of battery loss of the headset.

*The electronic design is based upon our own ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) circuit and controlled by a microprocessor. This makes it possible to combine very low current consumption with high performance and instead of cutting off peak sounds it compresses them down to a level of 82 dB(A). This enables true life stereo sound reproduction.
