Milbemax for Dogs

Overview:

Milbemax for dogs is an effective allwormer for the prevention of heartworms and treatment of various intestinal worms. It treats and controls internal parasites including roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms in dogs. This affordable oral treatment is ideal for preventing mixed infections in dogs and protects them fatal heartworm disease. It is safe to use in dogs and puppies over 2 weeks of age.

Directions of use:

• Minimum recommended dose rate: 0.5 mg milbemycin oxime and 5 mg praziquantel per kg bodyweight of a dog.
• Administer the tablet orally as a single dose.
• Treat pet once a month to prevent heartworm and other intestinal worm infection.
• Can be administered with or without food.
• Until 12 weeks of age treat puppies with Milbemax once every 2 weeks.
• Then continue once every three months for protection against intestinal worms.
• For added heartworm prevention, treat once a month preferably on the same date.

Safety:

• For veterinary use only.
• Store it in a cool and dry place.
• Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
• Test your dog for existing heartworm infection before starting Milbemax treatment.
• It is safe to use in breeding males and females, pregnant and lactating bitches.

Contraindications:

• Do not treat small dogs and puppies less than 2 weeks of age or weighing less than 0.5 kg.

Warning:

• This product must be administered MONTHLY to prevent heartworm infection.
• It is recommended for use all year round.
• Please seek advice from your veterinarian regarding heartworm testing PRIOR to using this product if:

Your pet is older than 8 weeks of age when you start using this product.
