These are the official combat subdued Basic Parachutist Jump wings from the Southeast Asian Nation of Malaysia (formerly Malaya) from 1988. These wings are primarily worn by Malaysian Special Forces known as GERAKHAS. They are tough jungle fighters and some of the best combat trackers in the world. The wings are not illustrated in either of the Bragg and Turner's books, but are the subdued version of the B&T 1500 series parachute badges as shown in Bragg and Turner's PARACHUTE WINGS Book published in 1985. There are seven classes of Malaysian parachute badges. Please look at my other listings in my eBay store for other Malaysian badges in this series. I have these few remaining, so if you are interested, buy them now while they are available. I personally obtained these badges from Malaysian Special Forces sources in 1988. The wing is blackened metal with two clutch backed prongs as shown.
