June has always loved art and is a popular local artist with much of her work depicting scenes in and around Hot Springs. Her art has also been commissioned by many companies and individuals and includes a wide range of subjects. She works primarily in watercolor, acrylics and pen and ink, and has won awards in each medium," a news release said.

"June has taught drawing and painting for many years to both children and adults. She is a member of Brush Strokes Art Club and Traditional Art Guild. Her focus now is to continue the process of discovery in her art and to create works of beauty and lasting interest," it said.
