Signs of Wear
Leaking coolant – puddle of coolant under the vehicle, a constant drip or stream of coolant from the pump’s weep hole, or constantly empty or low coolant reservoir.
Engine overheating – engine may not be receiving the required coolant flow. Check for proper level of coolant.
Visible component wear – worn seals, corrosion, pitting of pump components or a loose or wobbly pump shaft
