This part fixes a well-known “black screen of death” issue. Every case can be different, but it commonly applies 

when the Meta/Oculus startup logo appears on power-up, the display then stays black, yet sound is present. 

In these cases, replacing the proximity sensor usually resolves the issue.

If the Meta/Oculus startup logo does not appear at all, the fault is likely elsewhere (such as the LCD or motherboard), 

and this part will not fix the problem.

Genuine Meta / Oculus Quest 2 Proximity Sensor & Inner Face Cover Assembly. Removed from a working headset and fully tested.

Part is used but in working condition, may have some minor signs of previous use. The proximity sensor functions correctly, ensuring proper headset wake/sleep detection.

This is an original genuine Meta/Oculus part, not a third-party replacement. Ideal for repair or refurbishment of a Quest 2 headset.

Screws are not included. Please reuse your original screws
