The year was 1971. . .

As a junior high student,  our school screened to all the students the 1966 documentary 'Endless Summer,' the movie that documents future surf legends Robert August and Micheal Hynson as they travel the globe in search of the perfect wave.

On the 60 year anniversary of the movies release, I want to reflect on the whole surf culture.  From the Old Guys that Rule, to the grommits just learning the ropes.

The bundle includes:

A tin poster wall art. . .

A single frame of film  became the iconic  advertising image associated with the movie. It was used in theatre posters, print ads, album art; and now as a tin wall hanging for the home. About 17x14"

A set of vintage salt & pepper shakers in the shape of surfboards stuck standing on a beach.  Made of ceramicìa and brightly painted the set stands about 4 inches tall and 5 inches wide. Includes original storage box

A framed grouping of mini wood surfboards shadowbox to hang on the wall.  Made of a highly lacquered hardwood  (maple?), the piece is about 11x13 inches.

Last is a Maui and Sons vintage skimboard. Excellent for use as a wall hanging. Bright colors make the two lions pop on this no longer produced design.  About 39" long and 19 wide.

The bundle makes a gnarly Christmas gift for your favorite beach bum.

The 4 pc set is available for local pick up in Corona Calif.  Otherwise it ships via standard services for a flat rate of $45.
