HOW TO OPEN AND CLOSE A JUMP RING
Hold each side of the jump ring with flat-nose or chain-nose pliers.
Twist one end forwards and the other backwards to open the ring. Reverse the movement to close it, bringing the ends neatly back together.
Do not pull the ends directly apart, as this can distort the oval shape.
