Adults can thrive for weeks or months in a variety of temperatures and humidities as long as they have adequate food and water. To help ladybugs stay ahead of the pest lifecycle, we suggest introducing them multiple times throughout the growing season.

Our ladybugs are easy to spot! The black area behind the head has two white, “converging” lines that set them apart from other lady beetles. Our species of ladybugs are native to the USA!

INTRODUCTION RATES

Preventative/Light: 1 ladybug per sq. ft., monthly

Moderate: 1 ladybug per sq. ft., bi-weekly, 2-3 times

Heavy: 1 ladybug per sq. ft., weekly, 2-4 times

It's important to note that these introduction rates serve as general guidelines and may vary based on the specific pest species, the crop or plant being treated, and level of infestation. Proper monitoring of the infestation and the subsequent effectiveness of the released beneficial insect population is crucial for determining the success of the biological control strategy.
