Here is a fantastic collectible teapot made as a collaboration between Harmony Kingdom and Cardew Designs. Introduced and retired in 1999, Peter Calvesbert (Harmony Kingdom artist) and Paul Cardew designed this teapot as a special limited edition. Made in Cardew Studios in Devonshire, England, the teapot features Lord Byron the ladybug and Bumbles the bee riding atop the teapot ship into the next millennium. Other well-known Harmony Kingdom characters are present, including Mad Murphy, Wolfie, and Tubs the turtle.

The meaning of the name of the teapot is a reference to a limited edition Harmony Kingdom box that was released about the same time (Y2HK) that had a theme on the Year 2000 computer bug. "YT42HK" means "Year Teapot For Two Harmony Kingdom".

Cardew Studios is no longer in business, but at one time they made the best of collectible teapots. The company suggests that the teapot not be used for tea. The ceramic teapot goes through many processes before finishing, and each teapot takes about 8 days to complete. There are many glazes used, along with being hand painted.

This large sized teapot is hand-numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. This one is #713 or 742 out of 4850 made (First purchase will get the lower number) , and the bottom shows information as to name and designers and date. The teapot is new, in perfect condition, and has never been displayed. It is in the original box too.

This ceramic teapot is one of the more rare creations from Harmony Kingdom, and would make a terrific display with your collection.
