What can I say about this watch. It's Original and a blast from the past. I bought it from a old timey Mom and Pop jeweler back in 1987. It wears well, but I wear sports watches now for sporting activities. This is more for dress up occasions. The ELGIN 17 Jewel movement is superb. A solid 10K filled watch that actually works. You have to wind it though. Keeps fairly good time. They made watches better back in the 1930s. This came from the Depression Era and might have been worn by a Banker or Attorney. Whoever had it took very good care of it as I have since I have owned it.
