Subtitled "Seventeen Years with Father Ignatius," Sister Mary Agnes takes a critical and, at the time, controversial approach to discussing her experiences and the work required of nuns at the convents in which she lived. Chapters include "The Vow of Chastity," "Ill-Treatment of Children," "Apparitions and Miracles," and more. Front cover is printed with an image of a nun in black-and-white with pale green background. An overall firm and clean copy of a very scarce work, with tight binding; rubbed corners and edges; ex-libris on inside front board; light wear to boards, with old sticker to front; normal age-toning to pages; interior is clean and free of markings.
