This MGW Race knob is designed with a 9/16-18 threaded insert. This means you can only use this knob with a shifter that has a 9/16-18 threaded shaft (A Factory C5 Corvette shifter has this thread size) or if you are using this knob on a MGW shifter you will need already have or buy the 9/16-18 shaft.
