Parting with my collection of 1950s vintage children’s books, so please see my other listings if you are a collector!  This one is for a Mickey Mouse Club Book, Walt Disney's “Peter and the Wolf", a fairy tale inspired by Serge Prokofieff's Musical Theme.  Pictures by Disney Studio's Richard Kelsey, a prolific children's illustrator who also assisted in the design of them parks--the original Disneyland in 1955 and Magic Mountain in Colorado in 1957.  Simon and Schuster 1947 copyright, rear spine "A" edition.  For a kid’s book of 60+ years and a rare "A" edition, it is in very good condition.  Exterior boards and spine show some shelf and use wear.  Except for a date stamp on title page and some crayon marks on copyright page and inside back board (see photos), the interior is in near mint condition with expected paper aging.  Binding tight.  A collectible example of this classic Mickey Mouse Club Book.  A nice addition for a Vintage Book Collection or to introduce a new generation to the classic stories and illustrations in vintage children's books.  Shipped Media Mail.  First Class Mail also available.
