Nets' Rick Barry battles Colonels' Dan Issel at the Island Garden, one of the last games at the tiny arena. Nets set all-time attendance record at this game with 5,962 fans in attendance. Issel explodes for 42 points, and teammate Artis Gimore pulls down 17 rebounds, but Barry scores 25 points and teammate Bill Mechionni 24 points in Nets' 107-103 victory. 

The Nets went on to win the Eastern title and advance to the ABA Championship Series vs. the Indiana Pacers.
