Cerium oxide is a substance which, in combination with water, is used to polish glass. With its help, you can easily remove scratches and other damage that appears on the surface of the glass during use. It only takes a few minutes to restore the beautiful appearance of the glass with a simple drill.

Cerium oxide for manual polishing will make the sheet resemble the one received on the day of purchase. The products are great for:

Cerium oxide – applications

In order to polish the glass and effectively remove scratches from the surface of the pane, cerium oxide should be mixed with water at a ratio of 1:1. The resulting thick paste should be applied to the scratch and the surface polished using a felt polishing wheel or a felt with a flex pad and a drill. It is important that the speed of the drill does not exceed 600 revolutions per minute. Glass polishing can also be carried out using professional mechanical polishers. In order to achieve the best possible result, the scratch should be polished evenly, making small circles. In addition, it is also advisable to polish the area around the scratch. It is important not to stop in one place for too long, as this can lead to an indentation in the surface of the glass. Please note that the best results are obtained when the scratch is not perceptible under the nail.
