For QUICKER gear ratio (quicker off the line, quicker roll on's), use a 14 tooth front/42t Rear Sprocket
(the -1t front sprocket change is versatile because you can change back to the stock ratio size 15t with same chain,
Your highway speed cruising rpm's will be slightly higher than with stock gearing, and top speed will be reduced.
For Exact OEM DR650 gear ratio (USA models)... use a 15t tooth Front Sprocket /42t Rear
OEM Ratio is the Factory Suzuki Calculated best all around gearing, with the least amount of compromise on top end or bottom end acceleration
For Mild FREEWAY gear ratio (slightly lower top gear cruising rpm's, slightly higher top speed), use a 15 tooth front /41t Rear Sprocket
Your highway speed cruising rpm's will be slightly lower than with stock gearing, and top speed will be slightly increased, but.. with slightly slower low rpm throttle response.

Original Factory Supplied OEM size sprockets are the calculated "Happy Medium" of off the line acceleration, roll on's, and reasonable high speed engine rpm's with the least amount of compromise on either top end or low end acceleration.
