Japanese Suribachi Bowl Textured Clay Ceramic Japanese Brown Glaze Earth Tone 

Japanese suribachi mortar / grinding bowl.

Measures approximately 6" diameter x 2.75" tall. Base is 2.75" in diameter. Entire circumference is 18.5".

Weight: 1lb, 1oz.

Brown in color, with gray-colored (clay?) base. The inside has wire-brushed textured lines and is beige in color.

The entire piece appears to be hand painted.
