HyVent

While it is slightly less breathable than Gore-Tex laminates, it is extremely waterproof, and can be counted on as a dependable protective outer layer. The addition of an enhanced hydrophobic treatment enables the DWR to adhere to materials for an extremely extended lifetime. When water hits the fabric's surface, DWR finishes act like water repels off a ducks back, leaving you dry in wet, rainy conditions.
