For sale is a brand new, quality set of #10 x 24 TPI HSS taps and a #25 HSS Cobalt Tap drill.  Included with this kit is #25 Tap Drill, a plug tap, a taper tap and a bottom tap.  With this set, you will be able to handle any application where threading a hole or cleaning up existing threads of this profile is necessary.  Taps are made of M2 HSS, drill or HSS-Co and will last a very long time when used properly.

Definition of the taps in this kit you will receive:

Plug Tap: Most common tap type, has a slight taper, generally between 3 and 6 threads.

Taper Tap: More pronounced taper, less aggressive than plug type taps, taper is generally between 8 and 12 threads.

Bottom Tap: Has a continuous cutting edge with very little taper, generally between 1 and 3 threads.
