Ohm F 12" Refoam Kit with Spiders

This kit fits on the Ohm F drivers.  The inside lip of the foam surrounds are angled down slightly to make it easier to attach to these unique cones.  Check out the pictures above of a driver that was refoamed.  

*This kit includes 2 new spiders.  The cones are heavy on these drivers and the spiders can sometimes wear down and need to be replaced.  The white glue included in this kit will work to glue the outside of the spider to the frame, but not the spider to the voice coil/cone.  You will need to purchase a 2-part epoxy from your local hardware store.  

Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed
to repair two (2) drivers:

      • Refoaming Instructions
      • Two 12" Angled Foam Surrounds (F12-4)
      • Tall Shims For Centering The 3" Voice Coils (White)
      • Rope Caulk for resealing back in cabinet (72")
      • Two 6.167" OD Spiders (.54" tall, 3" voice coil opening)
      • 1 Bottle of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive

*It can be very difficult to refoam this speaker without shimming the voice coil.  The plastic shims are used to center the voice coil and cone assembly while the speaker is being refoamed.  If you do not use the plastic shims, the voice coil may be off center and it may lead to the voice coil rubbing.

D – Inside diameter of the surround   = 9″
