Original 19thC steel/copper engraving "Les Oublies de la Bastille" by P. Teyssonnieres and imprinted by Delatre, Paris. The engraving is on laid paper with a watermark. The image is crisp and the plate marks are evident. It reads along the bottom "P. Teyssonnieres, del, sc.   LES OUBLIES DE LA BASTILLE    CADART & LUCE, Editeurs, Rue Nve des Mathurins, 58.       Imp. Delatre, Paris,".

    The engraving measures approx. 12 1/4" x 18 3/4"  including the margins.

It is in fair to good original condition with normal wear consistent with its age and use, including yellowing, foxing spots, surface soiling, folds at the corner pencil inscriptions, and the edges show wear with small tears, chips and bends (all within the margins), ready to be framed. - (please view all photos for the best representation of quality and condition).

I am selling other similar works from the same collection on my other auctions and will be happy to combine shipping.

Please look at all the photos to get a good idea of the true condition, the photos are part of the description. Shipping is based on the estimated weight and dimensions of the packed item(s).

The items I list are primarily antique or vintage, and may have some minor flaws. I try to mention all damage or wear to the best of my ability; but I don't hold these pieces to the same standard as I would if they were new. Good vintage condition means the piece is in the condition consistent with it's age. If you have any doubts or questions, I will be happy to answer your inquiry.
