This poster was part of an ad campaign designed by the Miami Ad Agency Beber Silverstein as part of a promotional ad campaign series for Miami in the 1970's. It was extremely controversial in that it outraged feminist groups in Miami. An immediate call went out to protest before the Miami City Commission. The posters were labeled as inappropriate and a ban was imposed preventing them from hanging on travel agents walls. On Feb 4,1981 23,000 of these posters were shredded in a mass protest at a Miami garbage dump. This is one of only 2,000 that were saved by model Gail Kelly. This is a rare and extremely collectible piece of Miami history.

We acquired this poster in the early ‘80’s. It is custom framed and has been hanging in our home ever since. The poster’s condition is almost perfect. It has no major wrinkles, tears, folds or fading with only minimal, small scratches near the borders, unnoticeable at a normal viewing distance.
