Marigold Carnival Glass Plate
c. 1908
Made by the
Harry C. Northwood Glass, Co.
Wheeling, West Virginia
Approximate Dimensions:
9" (Diameter)
1.625" (High)
3.5" (Base Diameter)
The iridescence is very good with virtually no rub or wear. No chips, cracks, or repairs. There are the usual internal air bubbles and straw marks (shearing tool marks) commonly associated with the hand manufacturing of old carnival and opalescent glass. Each piece of old carnival glass is unique, no two are exactly alike. A really nice find.
