International Rogers Bros 1847 First Love Silverplate by the Piece Vintage

Produced between 1937 and 1973. The backstamp has “1847 Rogers Bros” and “IS,” which stands for International Silver, the company that owns Rogers Brothers (founded in 1847).

Buy just the pieces you need. Quantities vary for each shape. Select the piece you want from the drop-down list to see the available quantity and price for that piece. This older set has the sort of scratches and wear that you would expect from normal use, storage, and polishing and the pieces should fit in well with a set that has seen regular use. Some pieces may have areas of light tarnishing, especially in the crevices of the design on the handle, the ends of the tines, or the tips of the spoons. Modern Hollow Dinner Knife, Condition 1: 9-1/4 inches total; handle 4-1/4”. Obvious evidence of use and polishing. May have some dings in the handle. 

Modern Hollow Dinner Knife, Condition 2: As Condition 1 and one to several dark areas on blade where the finish is damaged. See the third photo.

Dinner Fork: 7-3/4 inches. May have heavy nicks near tips of tines or rough areas on back of tines near tips. Tines are straight and not dulled.

Individual Salad Fork, Condition 1: 6-3/4 inches. May have a few small rough areas on backs of tines.

Individual Salad Fork, Condition 2: As Condition 1 but one of the outer tines is bent in.

Teaspoon, Condition 1: 6-1/8 inches. Some wear on back of bowl. May have heavy scratch at tip of bowl on back.

Teaspoon, Condition 2: As Condition 1 and may have one or more obvious dark stains and/or one or two tiny nicks on edge.

Teaspoon, Condition 3: As Condition 1 but may have small dents in the bowl or handle curved in such a way that it does not nest properly with others.

Oval Soup Spoon, Condition 1: 7-3/8 inches. Moderately heavy wear on backs of bowls.

Oval Soup Spoon, Condition 2: Bowls (fronts and backs) have heavy wear and multiple small dark areas.

Serving/Tablespoon: 8-1/2 inches. Still shiny. Moderate wear to back of bowl. 

Sugar Spoon: 6 inches. No design in bowl. Still shiny. Moderate wear to back of bowl and a couple of small rough areas on the edge of the bowl.

Shipping Rate: These prices include free economy shipping to US addresses. If you purchase more than one type of piece, use Add to Cart for the quantity you want for each before going through checkout. That way, you only need to make one payment.

Shipping Method: I ship by USPS, UPS, or FedEx, depending on the weight and destination. If you select USPS Parcel Select, I may change it to one of the other services if it offers a faster shipping speed and insurance. I am pleased to ship to APO/FPO addresses. If you are concerned about the shipping cost, please contact me before agreeing to purchase.

“Ship To” Address: To avoid shipping delays and possible added expense, make sure your payment source has your correct “ship to” address. Also, I am happy to ship to a third party, but please be sure to provide that address before making the payment. Address change requests after payment may result in cancellation of the order.

If I’ve included eBay's International Standard Delivery, be aware that it is economical but be sure to check the estimated delivery time - it's slower than USPS Priority International. Most items over USD 30 will ship using eBay’s Global Shipping Program only.

Flatware will ship in a padded envelope or box, depending on the quantity purchased.

Payment must be received within 4 days.

Returns: If you are not pleased with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days in “as sold” condition. Please retain all packing material and/or replace damaged bubble wrap with new if necessary, to ensure an undamaged returned item. Please contact me first before starting the return process so I can have the chance to resolve the issue.
