High quality ND4 filter by GOBE - 37 mm size in original box and tin and unused.
This is a premium quality optical glass ND filter with a MRC multi-resistant coating with a magnalium alloy rim.
This is a 2 stop filter meaning that the light transmitted is 1/4 of ambient light.

GOBE use a peak system for measuring the quality of their filters with 3 being the best - this is a 2 peak filter.

You can use ND filters to reduce light intake so you can use a wider aperture to experiment with depth of field, and a slower shutter speed for motion blur. They are also very useful for photographing bright objects such as the sun.
Having a high quality filter such as these make a lot of difference particularly from flare and specular highlights.

This is an essential item for your landscape photography, I have also been using ND filters for timelapse photography - an absolute must for this.
