This item is from the game played July 30, 1976 between the St. Louis Cardinals at the Chicago Cubs. 

 

In the spirit of '76 the Cubs topped the Redbirds 7 to 6.


Pete LaCock jacked one, Jose Cardenal did too and Baron von George Mitterwald added to the party.  Willie Crawford walloped one for the Cards and Joe Ferguson wanted to let the Wrigley patrons know that George Mitterwald wasn't the only beefy, mustacheod backstop that could park one in the bleachers.
