It's a tapered Spool Pin for almost all SINGER Sewing Machines with a tapered socket for this.

You'll have to tap it in / hummer it in place with a mallet.

Some machines may take 2 Pins on the arm, like SINGER 12, 48, 66, 206, 316

Some may have an additional pin on their base for the bobbin winder like 15, 201, 316

Please note that the SINGER 201 made of cast aluminum has a threaded socket and takes an other spool pin.

In excellent vintage condition, as you can see in the photos. There might exist some minor surface blemishes here and there from normal use.
