You are buying the ORIGINAL MOBIL OIL rebottled into one of our bottles

This oil is purchased in bulk from one of Mobil's authorised distributors. We decant the oil into bottles ourselves for sale in smaller quantities. The plastic bottle, cap and label are not original Mobil items. The original Mobil batch numbers are included on the label to provide traceability to the manufacturing batch.

Description

Mobil Vactra Oil No.1 is an ISO VG 32 grade slideway oil.

Mobil Vactra Oil No.1 is a premium-quality slideway lubricant specifically designed to meet the requirements for accuracy, aqueous coolant separability, and equipment protection of precision machine tools.

Mobil Vactra Oil No.1 is carefully formulated from high-quality base stocks and performance balanced with an advanced additive system that provides controlled frictional properties, compatibility with aqueous metal working fluids and corrosion protection of parts and equipment. The unique additive package provides exceptional frictional properties on a wide variety of way materials, including steel on steel and steel on polymer, reducing stick-slip and chatter. This allows smooth, uniform motion at design travel speeds enhancing machine productivity and accuracy helping to prolong tool life and enhance surface finish. Mobil Vactra Oil No.1 has been optimized to provide separability from many aqueous coolants while minimizing the corrosive effects of high pH coolants on lubricated surfaces.

Please note that this is a slideway oil and is suitable for use on many lathes and milling machine slideways, even where the original manufacturer specifies a different oil. In many cases for old machinery, specific slideway oils were not available when they were manufactured and this oil should be seen as a step up where standard hydraulic fluids such as Esso NUTO were originally specified.

Our VAT Number is GB 357 0478 82. VAT is included in the price at a rate of 20%. A VAT invoice will be provided by email to your eBay registered buyer address when we process your order.
