This Basket was carefully hand-woven by Regina, a Ghanaian Artisan using sisal and elephant Grass, both of which are natural plants that can be abundantly found in most African countries.  Sisal is a hard-wearing plant and its fibre is known for creating beautiful and versatile crafts.  Both materials were treated with natural plant colours to create beautiful patterns.
