"One of America’s most influential DJs" – Urb Magazine
An electronic pioneer, Liquid Todd was the first to bring techno to the commercial airwaves in Boston (first on 101.7 WFNX, then on 104.1 WBCN) New York (K-Rock) and now in Cincinnati, Ohio (97.3 Channel Z). Long a champion of what some call “electronica” Todd has created thousands of new fans for the genre from his radio shows, mix CDs and exciting live performances. Some of the events at which LT has performed include Woodstock, Central Park Summerstage, the Aca World Sound Fest, Lollapalooza, Area:One and clubs like the Limelight, Twilo, the Palace, the Tunnel, Centro-Fly, Shadow Lounge, Lizard Lounge and many more - unleashing his energetic live set on thousands of new fans
In April 1996 LT launched the groundbreaking Solid State show on K-Rock with the support and vision of Program Director Steve Kingston. Solid State is rocktronica - rave and roll. Guest DJs like Fatboy Slim, Moby, the Prodigy, DJ Andy Smith from Portishead, the Chemical Brothers, Adam Freeland, Sasha and Digweed, Paul Oakenfold and Mark Rae, among others have graced the decks at K-Rock.
“One of those classic New York success stories” - Paper Magazine
Todd started producing original music as half of Wide (and signed a heavy deal with Atlantic Records) but moved on soon thereafter, much wiser and realistic about the business of music. Todd is much happier today, working on new music and collaborating with several musicians, producers and MC’s - including his old WIDE partner, Dr. Luke, bass-player extraordinaire Janek Gwizdala, DibS and many more. In the past few months, DJ Rap, Adam Freeland, Rae & Christian, Dave Ralph and David Holmes have all stopped by LT’s studio to either submit to an interview on the couch, to mix a guest DJ set for Solid State or to cook up some fresh beats.
