Dowflake Xtra Calcium Chloride is made for ice melting, dust control, concrete acceleration, road constructions (road base stabilization) and maintenance, tire weighting and many other applications. Less Dowflake is needed due to its higher concentration; it has 10% more calcium chloride then conventional flake calcium chloride products. When you apply this product to unpaved surfaces it reduces dust because it absorbs the moisture which keeps the surface wet and holds the dust to the gravel. When you add to concrete it increases the strength and protects in cold weather.

Large Quantity Orders: Due to the heavy weight of each bag, larger quantity orders may ship cheaper via freight. Please contact us prior to purchasing larger orders so we can find you the best and cheapest shipping method. For full skid orders (55 bags) a discount will be given. Please contact us for details.


We apologize for the expensive shipping costs; this is due to the heavy weight of the items. Starting in 2020, FedEx and UPS started charging an additional fee for items that weigh more than 50 lbs. We regret any inconvenience this has caused our customers.


Shipping: Items will ship via FedEx or UPS (unless a freight option is determined as mentioned above). We are unable to guarantee a specific carrier, even if one is selected or shown at checkout. We will ship via the carrier that has less days in transit to your destination.


Return Policy:

  • Buyer has 30 days from receipt of item to request a return
  • Buyer pays for return shipping
  • Item must be returned in same condition as received
  • In no instance will a return or refund be permitted for a used item
  • Upon receipt and inspection by seller, refund will be issued within 2 business days. Refund amount will equal amount paid to seller less the fees associated with the transaction


Cancellation Policy:

  • If buyer wants to cancel transaction prior to shipment of order, for any reason, the amount refunded will equal amount paid to seller less the fees associated with the transaction
  • If buyer's shipping address is in California, the seller will cancel the transaction due to comment made above in red, that this product cannot be shipped or sold in California. The amount refunded will equal amount paid to seller less the PayPal fees associated with the transaction
