This item is an antique & original single card, #17, from the set titled British Medals & Ribbons issued circa 1909 by Taddy & Co, London.
Card #17 features the medal issued for virtue & valour to Imperial & Colonial troops fighting in New Zealand during the Anglo- Maori wars of 1846-65.
Taddys are among the most sought after of all the cigarette cards, & ones in great condition are not so common, or easy to find.
This #17 card IS super condition, nice clean front & back, with very nice corners. The Myrtle Grove design on the back, with its lovely dusky green shading & flowing script is charming. No creases, bends or other blemishes. Please be sure to use the zoom feature to inspect for condition.
