Pierce played college football at Louisiana State University.  He was a rookie right guard and signed by the Dolphins in August 2002 when he was released by the New York Giants.  He fought for a spot on the regular roster but was signed to their practice squad but did not play during the regular season for the Dolphins.

This is his white mesh sleeveless style jersey with solid nylon shoulders and sleeves.  Green numbers edged in orange and drop shadowed in black.  Aqua knit neck stripe with the NFL EQUIPMENT patch.  Three color shoulder numbers.  Dolphins' emblem on each sleeve.  Reebok sleeve emblem.  "Dolphins" in aqua on a patch just below the neckline.  Green knit sleeve cuffs.  Spandex side panels.  "PIERCE" in aqua edged in orange on a name plate.  A white strip tag is in the neck with "02-48" imprinted on it in black.  Tagged in the tail with the NFL Equipment tag plus a size 48 tag plus a 6 inch longer body tag.  It is in mint condition showing no wear but has a stain on the lower back hem but it would not show when being worn.  (See photo).
