One vintage Nippon China Cake Dessert set of 5 which includes one large pierced handle round cake dessert platter and four  individual cake dessert plates. This set has a lovely design of hand painted yellow roses in gold medallions and swags on a pale blue/yellow band outlined in gold trim. 

 The cake serving platter measures  91/4"; the individual plates measure 6 1/2" in diameter. The platter has a barely visible translucent NIPPON mark which I believe dates to circa 1918. 

 Very good used condition with no chips or cracks. There are some imperfections, such as pinpops, paint spots under glaze and irregular areas on bottom rims. 

A very lovely and delicate set!
