E width is a wide width. Every time another "E" is added (i.e. EE to EEE), the width is increased by ¼ inch. How Do I Measure My Foot? Be sure to measure both feet and fit to the larger foot. To measure the length: Measure the foot from the heel to the tip of the longest toe, using a ruler or a tape measure. To measure the width: Use a tape measure to wrap your foot at the largest part of the foot, so it fits comfortably without any gaps.
