These warm white 3mm flat-top LEDs come pre-wired with a built-in resistor, so you can connect them directly to any 12V DC source — no soldering, no external resistor math, no extra steps. The warm, soft white tone makes them a natural fit anywhere you want illuminated light that feels closer to incandescent than to a harsh cool white.
Each LED operates at 12V with a 20mA current draw and delivers 10,000–12,000 mcd of output through a clear flat-top lens with a wide 110° viewing angle. The 3mm body fits tight spots that a 5mm LED won't, and the pre-attached leads run approximately 15cm (6 inches), giving you enough length to route without splicing in most applications. Compatible with 12V, 14V, and 15V systems.

Wiring & power notes
DC power recommended: LEDs are designed for DC. Running on AC will cause flickering and reduce lifespan. If using a low-voltage AC source (model railroad transformer, DCC track voltage), convert it to DC with a MB1S bridge rectifier plus a 100µF 50V electrolytic capacitor for clean, ripple-free output.
