A replacement Resistor for the Motor PCB fitted to earlier Rega Planar models sold for the UK market.

The original resistor sometimes fails due to overheating, causing motor to stop intermittently or permanently.

12K Ohms 7W Wirewound Resistor (Up-rated from the original 2W part)

(Package contains one resistor) 

This part is suitable for UK 240V 50Hz models

(European 220V / 50Hz and USA 120V / 60Hz models require different parts)

Later models were fitted with different configurations - please check the value of the resistor fitted to your model.

The original resistor will usually have three colour coded stripes - Brown, Red and Orange
