This is the #3 carrier/sled which has been pulled out of the #3 bay from an A1186 Apple Mac Pro Early 2008 3,1. It has the slim screw design (see 2 pics) that was only for a 2008 as opposed to the chunky screw design of a 2006. It can be placed into any of the bays and also into an A1186 Mac Pro 2006 1,1. This item has been tested and pulled from a working A1186 Apple Mac Pro and guaranteed working upon arrival. It will not fit an A1289 Apple Mac Pro. This is a genuine Apple part and not a copy. Please make sure you have the right part for your computer. This part cannot be added to any computer, so please be sure you are ordering the right part.
