The Abilene Star Collection throw features a patchwork of stars in alternating checks and plaids of deep reds, light tans and browns, beautifully framed with rich plaid patches. The warm rustic colors create a down-home, country farmhouse-inspired look.
The reverse is a deep burgundy red and brown plaid with a 2" rod pocket so you can display the throw, transforming a piece of bedding into exquisite wall art! The throw also will add a beautiful old farmhouse look folded over the back of your sofa (so it's handy to wrap yourself in cozy comfort on those cold winter nights) or tossed casually across an antique rocker.
Measuring a generous 70" x 55", the throw features a 100% cotton shell and batting, and is hand quilted with stitch-in-the-ditch and echo detailing to emphasize the beautiful patterns. Machine wash separately in cold water on the gentle cycle, no chlorine bleach. Do not dry clean - neither the cotton batting nor the hand quilting will withstand the harsh cleaning chemicals and processes. With proper handling, the throw will last for many, many years to come.
