The shape fits your body curve easily.
The height difference of each area creates slopes to support your head gently while it helps natural toss and turns no matter what sleep position you take.
The sides and neck area are plumped up a little to create gentle slopes to cradle your head softly.
The bottom part filled with soft silicone tubes support your neck when you sleep on the back.
The side parts are slightly higher than the middle to release excess pressure on your shoulders when you sleep on the side.
The gentle slope and bean-shaped contour fit the sweeping motion of rolling over and prevent your head from falling down during sleep.
KM03J is filled with four different pipes and beads each of which works differently to support your sleep.
A. Mini colma beads
Highly breathable small beads to keep the back of your head well ventilated.
B. Elastomeric pipes
Soft and elastic silicone-like tubes fit your neck curve.
C. Polyethylene pipes
Light and soundless tubes hold your ear softly when you sleep on your side.
D. Phanes colma beads
Bouncy beads lead your toss and turns smoothly.
KM03J MAKURA Pillow consists of a cover and a filling bag.
The covering is detachable for washing separately.
The filling bag can be zip open to adjust the height of each part to fit you better.

Hello, we're KITAMURA MAKURA based out of Nagoya, Japan! We have started our business originally as a cotton sheets wholesaler in 1923 and now specialize in producing originally designed pillows and other
sleep-related products. Throughout our history, we have sold more than 720,000 pillows domestically and started to sell in Asian countries like
Hong Kong and Malaysia recent years.
All of our pillows have very uniquely designed bean shape and four kinds of beads and pipes for filling which create the height difference and curves
to keep ideal sleeping posture and to help easy rollovers during sleep.

WHAT IS MAKURA ?
"Makura" is a direct Japanese translation for "Pillow". But as you may all know, "Pillow" in English means not just bed pillows but cushions and other
squishy items you use on a couch and places. On the other hand, "Makura" means strictly bed pillows in Japanese.
That is why we call our pillows Makura. We see Makura as a tool to sleep not just one of the bedding items you can slump back onto.
