They are 99.8% CERTIFIED ORGANIC COTTON!!  This is the best product we have for individuals with acute skin sensitivities or mcs (multiple chemical sensitivities.)  Available in 4 sizes to fit everyone.    

A message from Maggie's about their socks: "We partner with 2000 cooperative family farmers that grow organic cotton to our specifications. We share the risk with our farmers - with prepayments from the time they plant each crop. We process every step of production ourselves - from ginning to spinning to knitting to dying. Our knitters are generations old craftspeople based in North Carolina, Alabama, Maine, and Massachusetts, who take pride in their work. We carefully design each feature of each sock. From perfectly placed cushion to comfort tops. And we test each run of every style for content, stretch, and strength."

These are specially designed for people with allergies and chemical sensitivities. There is only a small amount of Lycra elastic in the top of the socks.
