Decontaminates Paintwork – Our medium grade detailing clay is slightly more aggressive than our fine grade clay, making it ideal for vehicles with a heavier build-up of bonded contamination and industrial fallout that washing alone cannot remove. It breaks down stubborn roughness more quickly, restoring paintwork that feels coarse or neglected to a smooth, clean surface with clearer gloss and sharper reflections. Used every six to twelve months, it helps revive tired paintwork and maintain a strong, showroom-style finish.

How To Use

1. Wash The Vehicle Thoroughly
Thoroughly wash the vehicle first to remove all loose dirt and surface contamination. The clay bar is designed to remove embedded contamination – using it over a dirty surface can cause scratches.

2. Tear, Warm And Flatten The Clay
Tear off a section of the medium grade clay from the main bar (keep the rest for later). Mould and warm the clay in your hands until it is soft, then press it into a flat disc ready for use.

3. Generously Lubricate With Quick Gloss Detailer
Work on a small area at a time. Spray a good amount of Quick Gloss Detailer onto the paintwork and a light mist onto the clay bar itself. Never use the clay on a dry surface – the panel must always be well lubricated.

4. Glide The Clay With Light Pressure
Using only light pressure, glide the clay back and forth over the lubricated area. Allow the clay to collect the bonded contamination from the surface. If the clay starts to grab or drag, simply spray more Quick Gloss Detailer to restore a smooth gliding action.

5. Fold And Refresh The Clay
As the clay picks up dirt, fold and remould it to push the contamination inside the clay, exposing a clean working surface. If you drop the clay on the floor or it becomes heavily soiled, tear off a fresh piece – it is important to keep any grit away from the clay and the paintwork.

6. Wipe Down And Check The Finish
Once the area feels smooth to the touch, wipe away any remaining Quick Gloss Detailer with a clean microfibre cloth and move on to the next section. After claying all the paintwork, the surface will feel as smooth as glass and is perfectly prepared for polishing, waxing or applying your chosen protective coating.

Deep clean your paintwork with our medium grade detailing clay bar, formulated to be slightly more aggressive than our fine grade clay. It makes light work of heavier bonded contamination, reducing the time and effort needed to achieve a surface that feels as smooth as glass and looks noticeably brighter and cleaner.

Easy-To-Use, Tear & Mould

Simply tear a section from the medium grade clay bar or cut it into smaller pieces, then mould and warm it in your hands until it becomes soft and can be pressed into a flat disc. As you work, keep folding and remoulding the clay to push the contamination deep inside and expose a clean surface; if the clay becomes heavily soiled or is dropped on the floor, discard it and tear off a fresh piece to continue deep cleansing your vehicle’s finish.

Spray a generous amount of quick detailer onto the paintwork before you start to allow the more aggressive medium grade clay to glide smoothly and safely over the surface. Work in small sections using only light to moderate pressure, making repeated passes until the paintwork feels smooth to the touch—if the clay starts to grab, simply add more quick detailer. Always keep the surface well lubricated throughout the process and never use the clay on a dry surface.
