The Aluminium Shop is an Essex based 47 year old company with nationwide operations. We are a family run company that has always possessed the ability to change with the times ensuring we give the best possible service to you our client.

We specialise in the following areas: - Supply of
Aluminium sheet and tread plate, stainless steel sheet, galvanised sheet and zintec sheet in various thickness's.
Aluminium Sections, Steel Sections, extrusions & profiles, wallboard sections, metalwork, metal fabrication, engineering, shop fitting equipment, shop display equipment, painting, stove enamelling and powder coating.

Delivery Information

Any bespoke fabricated purchases and take between 7-14 working days but this will be advised upon ordering.

All orders dispatched next working day with delivery usually with 2 working days of dispatch. If not received with 2-3 working days please contact us so we can chase the delivery for you.

Deliveries to specific postcode would require contacting us direct before purchasing as there is likely to be an extra delivery cost and delivery may take 2-3 extra working days to deliver.

Terms & Conditions

We do not offer refunds as our products are custom made to suit your order. In the event that your product is received and is damaged, the customer may return it and the responsibility for postage costs sits with the customer. If the product is deemed faulty, We will be happy to resupply the exact same product at no further cost.

In the event that a product arrives and is wrong, providing the product is the exact specification you purchased, we cannot offer a refund.

As soon as we have delivered the goods to your door you will be responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk.

Please remember to inspect the condition and quantity of your package/goods before signing for them. We cannot accept claims if the goods have been signed for "Received in GOOD CONDITION". In the event that goods are returned to us because they were not signed for we will not be liable for any loss sustained by you and we will contact you to arrange payment by you for a further carriage charge before we are obliged to attempt to redeliver the items to you.

We do not offer refunds for items that the carrier returns to us due to them being unable to obtain a signature, (They will attempt to deliver twice) unless it can be proved that the carrier was at fault. Signing for deliveries

TIME LIMITATION FOR NOTIFICATION OF CLAIMS

Damage in transit: If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must, if delivered by carrier or recorded delivery, make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note and it will be your responsibility to inform us by email within 7 days from delivery.

Shortages: It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us by email within 7 days from delivery.

Incorrect Items: It is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect items within 7 days from delivery by email.

Damaged/defective Goods: Items that are deemed damaged or defective can be returned for replacement or credit. Faulty goods can be returned up to 14 working days following receipt of order. Please inform us by email stating 'damaged goods' as the subject, including all order details within the correspondence.

Due to the bespoke nature of some of the goods we supply. Those items where products have been cut to the requested dimensions are deemed as bespoke and are not liable for return under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (June 2014) regarding distance selling

RETURNS
Cancelled orders and unwanted goods: You have 7 days the 'day after' the day that the goods are received to cancel your contract. The goods must be returned to us in the condition they were despatched, complete with all packaging and in a re saleable state. The goods remain YOUR responsibility until they are received and signed for by us. A refund will be provided within '30 days of cancellation'. If these conditions are not met then you will be refused a refund. Please request a returns authorisation before returning any items.
We also strongly recommend that returned goods are sent by special delivery with the appropriate insurance cover as they will only be deemed returned when signed for by us.
