Amethyst is the most prized stone of the quartz group. Its name, taken from Greek, means “not drunk”. It was in fact considered in antiquity as a talisman against drunkenness. Its crystals are always implanted on a rocky substrate. Heating amethysts to temperatures of 470 to 750°C causes their color to change to light yellow, reddish-brown, green, or colorless. Some amethysts fade in daylight. The original color can be restored by irradiation. The color is attributed to the presence of iron linked to strong irradiation. Amethyst darkens a little in artificial light.

In such a case, A BIJOUX must, within THIRTY DAYS of exercising the right of withdrawal, credit the consumer with a credit or reimburse the sums paid. Returns / Exchanges: - Before any return, please obtain agreement by email, in order to process the return in the best conditions. - An item can be returned to us within 15 days of dispatch (postmark taken as proof) provided that it has not been worn and is returned in its original packaging. - Round-trip postal costs caused by a return are the responsibility of A Bijoux after the customer's request. - We will exchange the item for another model. - A refund will be possible IN THE FORM OF A CREDIT.
