This mounting kit has been Manufactured to suit most Custom Solo Seats.
Manufactured in the UK from High quality 316 stainless steel and highly polished. The mounting bracket has two slots for adjusting the position of your seat. The Front Mounting Plate is also made from Stainless Steel and has a drilled and counter bored hole for an M8 Caphead bolt . They are bolted togethar using an M8 stainless steel fitted bolt which provides the hinge point for the seat.
The Spring mounts(pair) have been Manufactured to suit both old style springs
which have an 8-10mm base hole and also to suit more modern springs which have a
16-18mm base hole.The kit comes with a 1.5mm thick Stainless Steel retaining
washer and a Galvanised Steel retainer clip.
The mounts have an 11mm Radius and need to be welded in place on the
motorcycle frame once all other seat components are in place.
The Springs(pair) are made from Chromed heavy duty Carbon Spring steel and will provide good stability as well as looks.
