This is a unique combination of a 3 rack unit (5.25 inch, 13.32 cm) high panel mated with a 2 rack unit high rack tray (or rack shelf) mounted in the top 2 units of the 3 unit panel.  This allows the extended lower segment to clear the fans mounted under the tray. The fans are mounted to blow air directly on the underside of the CDM heat sink(s). The extra front panel space under the radio tray allows the buyer to mount any number of things... switches, lights, connectors, USB audio boards, whatever.
  • Note that the fan openings are CUSTOM CUT TO MATCH your fans; so the way to make this work for you is to start by contacting us via email or telephone, then let's discuss the hole size and we will try hard to match the hole diameter to the fans you will be providing... We will make it come out your way!
  • A DC power supply can be added to the tray/shelf at additional cost, it's available in your choice of 20 amp, and 30 amp. Both come pre-mounted with an AC cord, a strain relief, and two bi-pin compatible power cords that plug into the back of your CDMs - plug and play! The 20 amp supply is 110v-120v only, the 30 amp supply is switchable between 110 and 220v AC input.
  • We also have antenna pigtails with the proper coax connectors for the back of the CDMs and to convert them to your choice of UHF or N connectors. Ask us about them! We can also add a tray-mounted I/O panel with the AC connector and two antenna connectors (see our tray-mounted I/O panel auction for details).
  • We can also supply an optional blank cover plate if you don't need the second radio opening now but might later on. Ask us for more info.
  • Rack panel comes with handles and corner brackets to bolt the panel to the tray.
  • You supply your mobile mounting brackets and if you don't have them then PLEASE ASK and we can provide the proper size of L-brackets to mount the radios.
  • We can also add your call sign in laser-cut stencil font since there is blank space under the radio front panel/ below the tray height; that is an extra cost and the price varies so please ASK for a quote on it!
  • We also sell portable cases and desk racks; thew cases come in sizes from 3U to 8U and the desk racks are available in 10U & 12U so please ask for more info
  • Want our custom built heavy duty 90 degree angle bracket set to mount the radios (2 per radio)? Add $20 (sure beats trying to find mobile mounting brackets)
  • We have a repeater controller you can add on easily; but that one needs some conversation so let's chat!
