Any time you add extra weight to the back end of your car, which happens when towing a caravan or trailer, it forces the front end of your car up. This means that the front wheels lose much of that all important contact with the road.

This creates a potentially dangerous situation as stability, braking efficiency and directional control can be seriously affected and this is one of the main causes of sway. Your headlights can lose contact with the road and blind oncoming traffic.

The Ideal Solution

The Trojan Load-leveller is a weight distribution hitch that can redistribute the added draw-bar weight onto the towing vehicle's front and rear wheels, and in doing so estores full control of steering and braking. With the addition of the Trojan adapter kit part number 72195 the Trojan "ANTI SWAY CONTROL" device part number 993936 can easily be fitted to make towing your caravan safer.

The Trojan Load-leveller is fully adjustable for any weight caravan or trailer and is quick to fit and remove. Restore control, safety and comfort whenever your towing, by fitting a Trojan Load-leveller and Trojan Anti Sway Device to your caravan or trailer.

This Load Leveller is suitable for fitment to caravans with a maximum nose weight of 160kg. Adjustment is achieved by tensioning the leaf springs by way chain links being slotted into the brackets fitted to the trailer draw bar. All components are electro zinc plated.
