Flat Piranha orange/amber LEDs bring the wide-angle output and vibration-resistant four-pin design of superflux technology to any project that needs a true 605 nm amber glow — making them especially well suited for custom automotive tail lights, turn signals, and indicator builds.
Each LED operates at a forward voltage of 1.9–2.1V at 20mA, emitting at 605 nm in the orange/amber range with a 110° viewing angle through a clear flat lens. At 10,000–13,000 mcd, these 5mm flat piranha LEDs deliver substantial brightness without the narrow hotspot typical of standard 5mm packages, spreading light evenly across shallow housings and open surfaces.

Wiring & power notes
DC power recommended: LEDs are designed for DC. Running on AC will cause flickering and reduce lifespan. If using a low-voltage AC source (model railroad transformer, DCC track voltage), convert it to DC with a MB1S bridge rectifier plus a 100µF 50V electrolytic capacitor for clean, ripple-free output.
