 On offer here is a brand new correct reproduction of the gear shift return spring for 3 speed manual HD and HR models. This spring is often worn through or missing resulting in a poor shift feel. The gear shift return spring has the eye attached to the control lever trunion and the hook attaches to a small hole in the firewall to floor seam just under the column. This spring is the one that pulls the gear lever back when you pull it towards the wheel in neutral. On earlier models (FE-EH) there was a large spring inside the column to do this but was removed and replaced with this arrangement on HD and HR manual models.

 Like virtually every spring on every car, it is purpose made for that specific job. These are proudly Australian made with Australian steel and labour.
